Calling all Manitoba Artists
The Manitoba Society of Artists' annual Open Juried Show will be celebrating its 80th anniversary April 7-22, 2012 and will be held in the Winnipeg Art Gallery in recognition of this achievement. Robert Genn from BC and Andrew Kear from the WAG are this year's jurors. The show is open to all artists residing in Manitoba, whether members of the MSA or not. Deadline for entry is March 19, 2012.
RURAL and NORTHERN ARTISTS
Rural and northern artists will receive assistance with shipping costs of their artworks. Gardewine North has graciously offered to cover the cost of shipping artwork via their network. The artist must properly crate and label the art to ensure it is protected against damage and/or loss in transit. The artist is responsible for insurance and assumes all risks as neither the MSA nor Gardewine will entertain claims for damages/loss.
