The Manitoba Society of Artists (MSA) 78th Annual Open Juried Exhibition was officially opened by Judy Wasylycia-Leis, May 29 at 2:30 pm. The exhibition is being held at The Bay, 6th floor and runs through June 27.

MSA President and MC, Bonnie Taylor and Ms. Wasylycia-Leis presented the various awards to the following:

First Place to Tom Prescott for "The Jury"

Second Place to Frank Martin for "Gateway to Heaven"

Third Place to Pat McCullough for "Shades of the Orient"

Brian J. Hyslop Memorial Award to Lynda Dean for "Sunlit"

W. Cliff Packer Memorial Award to Naomi Gerrard for "River Scrimmages"

Lynn Sisson Watercolour Award to Ruth Kamenev for "Profusion"

Honourable Mentions went to:

Les Brandt for "Homecoming 2010"

Jacqueline Goodman for "Smudge"

Fran Partridge for "Home Before Dark"
