Manitoba artist and illustrator, Luther Pokrant, studied art at the University of Manitoba and received his M.A. at New Mexico State.

His paintings are inspired by the natural beauty of Manitoba’s forests and lakes, reflected in colourful landscapes and water lily paintings. His work is featured in corporate board rooms and various publications. Elaborately detailed and painted 3-dimensional boxes are extensions of these ideas.

He is a member of the Manitoba Society of Artists and the Royal Canadian Academy of Arts.

Luther Pokrant is represented by Mayberry Fine Art, Winnipeg, and Assiniboia Gallery, Regina. Work can also be seen at Wayne Arthur Gallery and Augusta Tree Gallery, Winnipeg.
