Jennifer LaBella Gallery
Contact the artist: info@jenniferlabella.com Website: www.JenniferLabella.com My name is Jennifer LaBella and as a member of the MSA, I am pleased to present a sampling of my work. My paintings are inspired by my own experiences, and are therefore quite personal to me. For instance, I love riding and occasionally, I ride my friend’s horses, who are often the models for my equine paintings. I have been to East Africa three times, and my African paintings are based on the people I met and animals that I saw, photographed and sketched while there. My landscapes are from various trips, such as a recent visit to Yellowstone National Park.
My latest adventure has been to write and illustrate a children’s picture book, A Polar Bear Night of Stars and Light. It is based on my visits to Churchill, Manitoba ('the Polar Bear Capital of the World'). The book contains 14 full page watercolor paintings and many graphite sketches. You can find more about the book on my website. As you can see, I love to paint in watercolor, and I enjoy teaching adult beginners how to paint as well. I hope you enjoy your tour through my artwork.
